In Reception, we build on the foundations already created in Nursery whilst also welcoming those children new to our school.  With that in mind, we begin the year with topics that are familiar, these include Marvellous me and Our Super School.

We then expand the children's experiences by going into the community and looking at the different jobs that people do.  We have many visitors into school and take part in lots of hands on learning.  Our final main topic of the year focuses on the wider world through the exploration of transport in our All Aboard theme, where we explore the world and how we might get there.
