History of Our School
Our children have special memories of their time at our school and value the highly positive relationships we build in our community.
Kingston Park Primary School opened in September 1989 to serve Kingston Park, Kenton Bank Foot, Tudor Grange and Ouseburn Park areas of the city.
The school has been built to cater for children from the ages of 3 to 11 years. We anticipate that children will remain with us from Reception right through to Year 6. At the age of 11 most of the children transfer to Kenton School. The school also has a Nursery which provides 10 full time places and 32 part-time places for children aged 3+.
The school is fortunate to have a wrap around care provision called Kingston Kids Club. This includes a Breakfast Club which operates from 7.30 – 8.55am Monday to Friday and an After School Club which operates from 3.20 - 5.45pm Monday to Friday. Information about the Kingston Kids Club is available on the school website.
There are 16 additional planned places for children with physical and/or medical difficulties.
The school not only sees itself as a centre of education within the school day, but as a centre for community use during the school day and beyond.
