General Information

There are  Local Authority parking restrictions in the area meaning that parking is restricted in the neighbouring streets around Kingston Park. We strongly encourage all parents to park using the Local Authority “Park and Walk” Scheme at the Falcons Rugby Club at dropping off and picking up times.

When using this facility please park using the Rugby Club guidelines below:

‘All parents/carers should be parking in the designated marked bays in the East Stand. Parking is not permitted on kerbs, block paving, grassed areas or on immediate corners.’

Keeping your child safe on their way to school and on site

Our Traffic Management Group, which includes, members of staff, residents, parents, Traffic Warden representatives, the Rugby Club and the Police, meets regularly to review the procedures we have in place to safeguard our children on their way to school.

Our Traffic Management Group needs to do this because sometimes, we experience parents who do not pay due care and attention to where they park, or the speed at which they drive around the Kingston Park area whilst dropping off their own children.  We receive complaints on occasion from residents who experience inconsiderate parking, which prevents them from going about their daily business. 

Staff regularly go onto the estate to check that parents have parked safely and considerately.

Our School Council and School Eco Council have also worked extensively on encouraging parents to park and drive with consideration for children's safety. 

On-Site Parking

To safeguard your child, we keep traffic on site to a minimum. Accordingly, parking is permitted on site only for school employees, parents and carers with permits and visitors on official school business.

If you or your child have a temporary or long term disability which means you would like to access the school car park please ask the School Office for a parking permit. To help keep our children safe we request that there is no vehicle movement in the car park until the gates are opened. 

All vehicle movement and entry to the school car park is restricted between:-

8.40 - 9.15am

3.10 - 3.35pm
