Aspirations - To learn as much as possible about offshore engineering in general. Return to the UK after Angola or take on a similar role in another country. Also training to become a chartered engineer.

“Kenton really does provide the education, life skills and learning experiences needed to leave school prepared for either further education or employment.

There were more people than at KPPS but with this came exposure to a better range of activities be it physical education, music, information technology or extracurricular activities. The teachers and support staff ran so many after school clubs that the pupils could always try something new.

There are many inspirational teachers at Kenton. My personal inspirations were from my Maths teacher, Chemistry teacher and French teacher.”

Ellie Dale

My name is Ellie and I attended Kingston Park Primary School from 2008 - 2016, leaving 10 years ago now and making me 22 this year!

Since leaving, I completed my GCSE’s at Kenton School, achieving 7A*s, 2As and a C in French (not my strong point). I continued studying my A Levels at Kenton, choosing to do Law, Maths and Geography. This was where my passion for Law truly developed and I knew that I had made the right choice in my career path to become a Barrister. Law A Level was extremely useful as it gave me an oversight into both Criminal and Civil Law and what direction my career could take. It also gave me some baseline knowledge for some core modules that I went on to study at University.

I have just graduated from Newcastle University with a First Class Law Degree with Honours this year. I am now enrolled onto the Bar Practice Course with the University of Law to be called to the Bar and become a Barrister. During my studies I will gain knowledge of both Civil and Criminal Litigation and the Practical Skills I will need during court procedures and meetings with clients. I am extremely excited to start the next part of my journey to becoming a Barrister and I owe this honour to the wonderful teachers and staff at Kingston Park Primary School who always pushed me to be my best and showed me my true potential.

Liberty Keith

My names Liberty and I attended Kingston Park Primary School between the years 2008-2016.

Since primary I have always wanted to be a Marine Biology as I found my love for sharks at a very early age that inspired me for life. I achieved my dream degree in Marine Biology in July 2026.

This included data coding and analysis, conservation research, working on research vessels, learning different marine habits and behaviours, and of course a whole shark and their relatives module!

After University and I have been getting involved in local sea watch groups and qualified as a BDMLR Marine Medic. Also, I have been picked for a Shark Conservation research project in Italy in 2027.

I thank Kingston Park Primary school for the help and encouragement in my early days it really made a difference!
