When planning our curriculum we take the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework as our curriculum driver and supplement it with progression of skills from Development Matters guidance.  Using these documents alongside our understanding of our individual cohorts of children  we plan activities and learning sequences to support the children's development.  We look beyond the early years and ensure we plan and deliver a curriculum that allows children to gain the knowledge and skills they require to be ready to transition successfully in Key Stage 1.
